Bright light, Good motion detection, Easy to install. Great value
After an attempted break-in one night I realized there were areas around the house that were in darkness and provided hiding spots. I’m totally off grid and the house is solar powered, so I minimized outside ighting to keep the battery drain at nights as low as possible, plus it’s a pain to run wires everywhere.These solar powered lights looked to be the answer, low cost, would not drain my house batteies as they were self contained and seemed easy to install and could be directed. Another feature that was attractive was the three settings, with the dim light that brighted on movement detection being the one I thought would be most useful. So I ordered a two pack, which came well packed and worked with no problems right out of the box.These units don’t weight very mush, so installation can be made just about anywhere. You don’t need to put it on heavy construction. Installation is via a supplied bracket and screws and wall anchors are included. I was able to put up the two units in abut 30 minutes. I had left them in the sun for a day before using them, as recommended, and when I came to try them I was impressed. They turn on when the sun goes down, and as I set them for the dimm light permanantly on I found the light level to be adequate to show everything enough to be seen from inside the house. No more hiding spots.When the lights are triggered by the motion detector they go to full bright, which is surprisingly bright for the size. It’s good for moving around outside, and will also alert prowlers that they’ve been noticed. The range of the motion detector is very good, and the one I put over the front porch detects vehicles, bikes and even pedestrians walking past the house. It stays bright of about 15 seconds and then reverts to the low light. For me that’s fine, as if I’m moving around it stays on untill I leave.After installing the two lights and using them for a couple of weeks I ordered two more to cover some additional areas. I really like them.So far all pros, but there is one con. I gave installation only 4 stars, not because it’s difficult, it’s not, but I found that the mounting brackets did not always click on to the light. You are supposed to install the bracket and then drop the light onto it where it should click and latch in place. Of the four lamps only one bracket latched. The others allowed the lamp to be lifted off the bracket without dpresing the locking tab. In the end I installed two of them without the bracket, which you can do by directly screwing them onto the wall. Just make sure you have a long screwdriver, or screwdriver bit extension in your drill so you don’t damage the lights. Other than that, excellent product and great value.

I have had these in my back yard for the past 9 months. I have had no issues with the battery at all. they look great and provides a lot of light. The motion detection works great and detects my dog every time he goes outside it has been outside during freezing temperatures, multiple storms and has had no issues so i would say great quality. the remote control works, but you have to really close for it to work. The lights are kind of small but that works for me and the size of my backyard. highly recommend.

Four stars only because the panel doesn’t move as far as I need it to in order to use the wall mount where I wanted it. I love the brightness of it, and it detects motion at a good distance. These are perfect for shining extra light where I needed it to, once I figured out how to secure it using zip ties instead of the mount. Great deal for a two pack, and the quality is as expected. It works appropriately as well.

These are great! We put one up above the garage door and in back yard – they work good. It has a good range of illuminating enough to see around the perimeter and feel more safe. The solar panels get good sunlight where I live so that’s a big plus!They are a good purchase and so far they are holding up well!

got 2 without remote in 2022, its now 2026 n its still going.i love them and plan to order 2 or 4 more!the solar panel i clean once a month so maybe thats why mine lasted so long.its still bright n plan to get more for more places around my house. i love the quality of the solar panels. i have tried cheaper ones but other brands to use some kinda rubber that turns yellow very fast. i like that they use some kinda glass over it. jus keep it clean once a month n it will go on long as mine.size os decent for the amount light i need. motion detection works great especially when a cat or my dog needs to roam around the yard late at night to pee haha. it looks pretty goodi live in Orange County California so weather here is pretty. Nov to Jan its cold but it handles winter like a champ. i was actially thinking the 1st winter it wouldnt last but it worked great!try them! for the price you cant beat the quality!!

Easy to install and put off a good deal of light. Using in our yard for letting the dog out at night. They work perfect. They come in a good distance away, and are very bright. The only thing I can say, that I wish was different, was that the length of time they are on for could be adjusted. They go off in about 25 seconds and all you need to do is move and they come back on, so that’s easy enought.
