No need to buy AirTags – these are great!
These are awesome! I decided I needed something like this after losing my keys. I had bought AirTags for gifts back when they were on sale that the recipients loved. I didn’t want to pay full price for them but really wanted one right away. When I came across these, the price was so great, I decided to try them, thinking I could upgrade to the Apple version if/when they went back on sale. After trying these, I don’t see a need to get the Apple version at all! They were super easy to connect and they work within the Find My app. Installed both in less than a minute and a notification popped up immediately on my phone when I left one I put on my Kindle at home. You get two of these for less than one AirTag costs. An added bonus (which for me is huge!) is they have a little hole at the top that allows you to put them on a key ring without having to buy a holder for them! I always thought it was crazy that the Apple ones don’t have this, but as usual, Apple has figured out a way to get you to spend the extra $ for something that should be included! These even come with a little silicone strap (don’t love the strap but it works). I have no idea how long the battery lasts compared to Apple, but the price is so good and the functionality is great, it is worth the trade off, if that even is an issue.

So far I have set up two tags, the instructions are easy to follow and connect nicely with Find My. I have yet to use it to find a list item but I did do a test ring and it works. Already recommended these tags to a few friends. Also, these tags are affordable and seem to be good quality tags according to reviews and the little time I’ve had them.

I have purchased a couple different brands of these Find My compatible tags and these are by far the easiest and nicest I have bought. They were less than a minute to set up and test, they come in a ready to clip on and use format, and they are attractive.I will buy more of these same ones when I need a few more down the road. I think they are a very good value and I like the loudness of the audible tone when the Find My app uses the sound button to locate.

Great AirTag alternative, reliable
So far, so good.It was easy and effortless to get started: open the ‘find my’ app, press and hold the button and my phone recognized it very quickly. They work seamlessly with my Apple phone and so far, the location is very accurate.

I am impressed with these generic air tags! Instructions were included and it was super easy to set up. I plan to put these in luggage when we fly later this year. I’ll update if they don’t work but so far they seem great and show up in my “Find My” app.

Economical, easy to set up, seems to work well. Not sure about battery life, I put both of mine in service December 2025, the first battery died last week, not even 2 months of use. IDK if it was the battery that came installed or the device just burns thru batteries quickly. I’ve put a “better” battery in, we’ll see how long that lasts, and when device #2 dies. If these trackers run thru batteries every couple months that’s not going to work for me as I’m not normally physically close to where they are. Unit #2 is 700 mikes away, and sometime I’m away for 3-4 months at a time. I will update review after some more time.

Questo é il terzo Airtag compatibile che testo e si comporta davvero bene, esattamente come i precedenti testati, credo che l’elettronica sia simile.Vado al dunque di questo dispositivo in particolare.La confezione é ottima, offre un laccetto e il manuale anche in lingua italiana, ben illustrato e ricco.La forma e la dimensione é simile a quanto giá visto nei precedenti testati, qui peró é bianco cosa che preferisco rispetto al nero.. Ottime le plastiche.Riguardo al comportamento del dispositivo vado a riprendere quanto scritto sui precedenti visto il comportamento pressoché identico.RECENSIONE:Premesso che non ho un Airtag Apple per un confronto diretto e che difficilmente mai ne avró per il prezzo richiesto da Apple.. Non che abbia qualcosa contro Apple, anzi.. ha avuto la genialata di mettere su l’ecosistema Find.. tra l’altro aprendolo anche a dispositivi compatibili, tipo questo qui recensito, non poco. Semplicemente conosco bene i limiti della tecnologia Bluetooth, in passato pure ho usato dispositivi simili quando ancora non esistevano gli Airtag e nella zona in cui vivo per lo piú l’ecosistema Apple é poco diffuso.. quindi il vero beneficio offerto dagli Airtag, originali o meno, scema di brutto.. dovendo per lo piú fare affidamento al raggio di azione del Bluetooth del dispositivo stesso.. con tutti i limiti di questa tecnologia.In soldoni, dai test fatti, questo dispositivo quel che puó fare lo fa, ed anche meglio del previsto: ad esempio in casa, di tipo storico, con mura spesse anche 1 mt, in linea d’aria riesce a trasmettere e ricevere fino anche a 12 mt, che non é cosa da poco qui in casa con queste mura, quindi all’esterno i 20 e passa mt li tiene.Vale a dire che per uso interno a casa o comunque in locali funziona, e questo ci aiuta a non perderci oggetti vari (portafogli, cellulare, chiavi, ecc) a cui destinarlo.Basta appunto abbinarlo alla app Cerca di Apple in un baleno ed il gioco é fatto. Dalla app faremo tutto il resto per cercarlo, farlo squillare (con un beep intermittente), farci guidare alla sua posizione ultima nota (ovviamente non certamente in casa). Anche all’esterno, dispositivo originale o no, l’app, puó guidarci.. troverá sempre una posizione abbastanza approssimativa, non siamo certo in presenza di un GPS.. ma poi ci aiuta il beep nel tratto finale.Ed anche se uno dei nostri aggetti si allontana/ci allontaniamo da noi/lui, possiamo essere avvistati, ma tutto questo dipende sempre dalla app Apple e quindi sistema precluso ad Android.Dicevo Apple ha avuto la genialata di metter su un ecosistema che comunica con questi dispositivi cosí che se un iPhone ne intercetta uno, aggiorna la posizione di questo nell’ecosistema rendendolo visibile anche a noi che siamo fuori range dal suo Bluetooth, non male!Questo se.. di dispositivi iPhone ce né in abbondanza in giro.. perché come abbiamo visto stiamo parlano di iterazione Airtag/smartphone di qualche decina di metri al massimo e nei migliori dei casi.. quindi aeroporti, luoghi di vacanza, alberghi, piazze.. luoghi affollati ben vengano.. diversamente.. resta il solo e limitatissimo Bluetooth.Questo dispositivo é dotato di un bottoncino per accenderlo/spegnerlo/resettarlo ed ha un suo cicalino interno.Le dimensioni son quelle che vedete in foto, quindi non proprio mignon, ma comunque non da pregiudicargli un posto anche eventualmente nel portafogli. Este localizador se integra perfectamente en la App “Buscar” que viene en todos los dispositivos de Apple, siendo su funcionamiento prácticamente idéntico al original AirTag de la propia Apple.Puntos a tener en cuenta sobre este localizados, a diferencia del propio AirTag y de otros clónicos que he probado, esto no tiene protección a la intemperie, ni incluye una funda de silicona que lo haga resistente a lluvia, a su favor, el precio, 12,99 € lo hace tres veces mas económico que el original y uno de los mas económicos del mercado, por lo que si lo queremos para meter dentro del bolsa, mochila o cualquier objeto en el que este protegido de la intemperie, es una opción ideal, ademas, no necesita de un llavero como si ocurre con el original, ya que este incluye un agujero por donde pasar el cordón con anilla incluido o cualquier otro sistema de fijación.¿Pero que es lo que diferencia técnicamente y en prestaciones los originales AirTag y estos?, que los AirTag utiliza la tecnología Ultra WideBand, combinada con NFC y Bluetooth para comunicarse con otros dispositivos y disponen del chip U1 propio de Apple, la banda ultraancha o Ultra WideBand (UWB) es capaz de ofrecer localización precisa en exterior e interior a distancias de menos de 10 metros, y es que al contrario que con el Bluetooth, que estima la distancia en función de la intensidad de la señal, con la UWB el calculo se realiza midiendo el tiempo en que la señal va y vuelve desde el dispositivo al AirTag, consiguiendo así un nivel de precisión mucho mayor, pasando a localizar el AirTag con una precisión de menos de 10 centímetros, para ello, una vez localizado el AirTag, si este esta a dentro del alcance de la UWB, nos saldrá a lado del botón “reproducir sonido” la opción de “Buscar Cerca”, que activa la búsqueda de precisión para dar con la ubicación del objeto con una precisión de centímetros en vez de metros.Tampoco tendremos la facilidad a la hora de dar de alta cada localizador, de acercarlo al iPhone o iPad y que nos lo detecte automáticamente, dicha funcionalidad depende, igual que con los AirPods, del chip U1 exclusivo de lo productos Apple.Este localizador, si dispone del “MODO PERDIDO” y hace uso de los millones de dispositivos Apple que se conectan a la red Find My para facilitar su localización cuando esta lejos de nuestros dispositivos.Es recomendable este producto, desde mi punto de vista, totalmente, simplemente por la relación calidad precio, gracias a la cual, obtendremos prácticamente todas las prestaciones de los loscalizadores que se integran en la red “Buscar” de Apple, a un precio muy competitivo.Nota:Si este es el primer dispositivo de este tipo que se adquiere, se agradecerá mucho el completo manual de intrusiones que incluye, donde se explica con todo lujo de detalle, tanto como ponerlo en marcha, como todo lo concerniente a funcionamiento de la red “Buscar”
