For courses in basic electronics and electronic devices and circuits

A user-friendly, hands-on introduction to electronic devices filled with practical applications and software simulation

Electronic Devices (Conventional Current Version), 10/e, provides a solid foundation in basic analog electronics and a thorough introduction to analog integrated circuits and programmable devices. The text identifies the circuits and components within a system, helping students see how the circuit relates to the overall system function. Full-color photos and illustrations and easy-to-follow worked examples support the text’s strong emphasis on real-world application and troubleshooting. Updated throughout, the Tenth Edition features selected circuits keyed to Multisim V14 and LT Spice files so that students learn how to simulate, analyze, and troubleshoot using the latest circuit simulation software.

Best book for beginners that want to know more about transistors
This is the best book for beginners who are already familiar with basic electronics and wants to learn more about the basics about transistors, amplifiers and op amps as it covers a wide range of topics. However, if you are an absolute beginner, meaning you don’t know what a capacitor or a resistor is then this book is not for you. You could try the book “teach yourself electricity and electronics” by stan giblisco first.

    Excellent text
This is the book I was looking for. Learned it all back in the 70s, but wanted an exhaustive and understandable text to take me through it again. If you need to understand electronics and not just coding this is where you should start.

    Excellent product
I was looking for a book to give me some knowledge about electronic and I am glad to get it … easy understanding and easy following

  4. Wilzard

    Overly complicated, overly priced.
The book doesn’t give enough examples showing real numbers and values for complex equations. Most of the time it’ll just show an overly worded equation. Okay, how about you give me real values so I know I’m actually doing the work and analysis right? This is the US version of the book. The rest of the world gets the Global Edition, which is the exact same book except it’s only $40 and they changed some of the even problems slightly so your forced to buy this overpriced version. Good luck trying to search online for answers to see if you’re doing the calculations correctly. While the odd answers are in the back, almost all of the answers found online are for the Global Edition. The older versions of the book are easier to read and take in, less complicated and as such the older books don’t weigh ten pounds in your backpack. Like most Pearson books, it’s overly complicated when the material could have been conveyed much, much easier and lacks information where it counts.

Had to Buy it, Never Used It
Took the plastic off but never even opened the book.Another case of a professor saying I needed this to pass the class, but never made it necessary to use

  6. Cody I.

    Good
    Buy the lab book also

  7. charles kent geiger

    Good
    Very good

    Not great
I did not enjoy using Electronic Devices 10th edition, by Floyd. I am generally an excellent student when it comes to science and math classes, but I felt myself constantly frustrated with this book due to its incomplete explanations, overlapping terminology, saturation of symbols or acronyms, and trick end of chapter questions. Learning electronics is already not easy. This book could have been written and organized a lot better. Unfortunately, I am at the mercy of my local community college and am subject to whatever book they choose.

  9. GianLuca

Non è conforme alla decima edizione originale, manca un capitolo, quello chiamato communication system

  10. Ha Min Lee

the content is exactly like original book for a cheaper price.

  11. Daniel Peña Paz

This is the reference book I used in my electronics Professional Education.

  12. Mr. T

It is a long time since I studied electronics formally and therefore I wanted a good textbook to revise various topics and and go over those which I have not used or studied. This book is excellent and should prove useful to practising and students of electronics alike.

Super blij ermee
