Great price, easy to install, reliable security
⭐️ Five Stars — Peace of Mind with a Side of Comedy Gold ⭐️After years of pretending my “barky Golden Retriever” was my home security system, I finally upgraded to SimpliSafe — and let me tell you, it’s like moving from a tin can phone to NASA-level communication.Setup was surprisingly easy. I half expected to need a tech degree or at least a teenager, but no — it walked me through step by step, politely and clearly. The sensors paired like a dream, the app works flawlessly, and the cameras? Crystal clear. I could practically count the whiskers on my cat as he judged me from the couch. Now, let’s talk performance:• Motion sensors: Have a pet setting so my dog sneaking into the kitchen at 2 AM like he was in Ocean’s Eleven: Kibble Edition doesn’t trigger the alarm.• Camera quality: So sharp that when I reviewed footage, I realized my elderly cat has channeled her nocturnal soul – mastered the dog door – and spends her days basking in the warmth of the sun.• Alarm volume: Loud enough to make me question every life choice that led to accidentally setting it off the first time. I’m awake, the neighbors are awake, and the mailman probably heard it too.The system is also ridiculously reliable — fast notifications, smooth app control, and no mysterious “offline” messages that make you wonder if your house is currently being burgled. In short, SimpliSafe gives me serious peace of mind with just the right dose of unintentional comedy. Between the camera motion alerts from my cat’s 3 a.m. zoomies in the back garden and capturing my Golden’s daily “bored patrol,” it’s security and entertainment in one.Highly recommend — for both your safety and your sitcom-worthy household footage. 🏡🔔📸

User friendly, effective security system!
Very user friendly system that gets the job done. I get alerted when someone is in front, behind, or around our house. Super simple to setup and install.

Magnets
The magnets for the cameras have seemed to weaken after only a week. The cameras slip out of place easily. Having to rethink this 🤔

Great security system
We love this security system! Worth the purchase & affordable. Cameras have great range, push notifications through the app are so helpful and the alert to authorities definitely works, it’s happened a few times by accident. Camera battery charges last a decent while too especially if you update the motion sensitivity.

Very unreliable cameras
The cameras work with certain WiFi routers and access points and not others. After hours of troubleshooting I figured out the cameras do not stay reliably connected to an Ubiquiti AC Pro access point. It does stay connected to a U6 lite or Nana HD from the same company. I tried a TP-Link outdoor access point and an Asus router and it didn’t stay connected. That doesn’t mean it won’t work with other models from those manufacturers. There’s no list available for what will or won’t work, so you’re gambling when you buy one of these. When the cameras work they are pretty decent. When they don’t they’re worthless. If your cameras work for a little then stop working, and your WiFi signal is definitely good enough, you probably have an incompatible router or access point. No amount of swapping cameras or calling support will fix your problem for more than a few hours.Other than the cameras, I’ve had SimpliSafe for a few years and it’s an OK system. They’ve gone through a few companies for their monitoring and service and support has varied from OK to downright horrible. Prices for monitoring have been going up a few times a year recently. They know that once you have a system built up, you’re unlikely to cancel the monitoring if they raise the price.

Worth the price
Batteries die a little fast on outdoor cameras but system works great. The shutters are very loud when opening and closing on cameras but overall great system
