EXACTLY what we needed
My boyfriend has Alzheimers, but is an avid outdoorsman and therefore at risk of getting lost. We already live in an area with spotty cell and wifi coverage, so his key and wallet Tile locations are often inaccurate or won’t update. Couple that with him wanting to go hiking and goldpanning in remote areas, and that left us very limited on useful trackers, as most need cell or wifi nearby to send the GPS coordinates. Not Tracki! After months of product research, this is exactly what we needed. Simple setup, very user friendly app, and works great. He just has to clip it on *** and he doesnt need to go in and fiddle with any settings to get it to transmit to me.*** I would actually give it a 4.5 – 4.75, and only because the clip attachment and waterproof cover aren’t very sturdy. The clip isn’t strong so you can easily knock the unit off whatever it’s clipped to. The waterproof case has a little loop to use for a carabiner type clip, but it’s a soft silicone and would likely wear or tear easily.
